Tracy Adams, Clinical Hypnotherapist
My first experience with hypnosis was at a very young age. Following a childhood trauma with an abusive dentist, I developed a paralyzing phobia of dentistry, and in particular, that big syringe. Three years later, my resourceful mother realized I would never “outgrow” this terror. She sought out a progressive dentist who used hypnosis in his practice. Not only did the hypnosis remedy my phobia the very first visit, but I also enjoyed completely comfortable dental care for several years (including many fillings and four extractions) with no pain and no anesthetic whatsoever.
I received my clinical hypnotherapy training through the National Hypnotherapy Training Center in New Mexico. Additional training includes: clinical and complementary medical hypnotherapy (National Hypnotherapy Training Center); Fertility Consultant and HypnoBirthing® Instructor certifications (HypnoBirthing® Institute); EFT (Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology). I’m certified hypnotherapist and member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and a certified member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association.
The enhancement hypnosis can bring to the mind-body connection is something I’ve experienced personally. I’m thrilled to have an opportunity to assist others to use hypnosis for pain relief, emotional freedom, and improved wellness in many areas of life.
